Terms of Service

1. The service

The Scrolling Text Generator is a browser-based tool for creating animated scrolling text graphics and exporting them as GIF, WebM or PNG MOV files, or embedding them via a code snippet. Animation editing and rendering run in your browser. Account, cloud storage and voice generation features use server services; their scope may change as the product evolves.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the tool to create or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, sexualizes minors, distributes malware, circumvents paid limitations, or involves abusive scraping or automated misuse of the service. If your text includes third-party trademarks or copyrighted material, using it is your responsibility.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the text and materials you input into the tool ("User Content"). By using the tool you grant us only the limited, revocable right to process and store User Content as needed to provide the service. Editing and export happen locally; saving a cloud project uploads a copy to your account, and generating a voiceover sends its text and voice settings to the voice service. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use the User Content and to create and use the resulting animations. We do not review User Content for copyright compliance and are not responsible for it. If you believe content available through the service infringes your rights, contact us at the email below and we will address valid reports.

4. Exports and intellectual property

Animation files you generate (GIF/WebM/PNG MOV) are yours, and their commercial use is your responsibility, including securing any rights required in the text, fonts or assets you used. Free exports use base resolution. Pro includes premium fonts, templates and styles, up to 4× WebM and PNG MOV export, and voice generation and audio export. All exports currently have no watermark. Advanced Embed styles are available without a Pro subscription. The site's own code, templates and design remain owned by the site; access to templates does not transfer ownership of them.

5. Changes and termination

We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or the law.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

TikTok, CapCut and other platform names are trademarks of their respective owners; this tool is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them, and any mention is descriptive only.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on the site before they take effect. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Subscriptions and cloud storage

Pro subscriptions renew according to the price and billing interval shown at checkout. Creem processes payments as merchant of record. You can manage billing and cancellation through your account's customer portal. After cancellation, Pro access continues through the paid period shown in your account unless a full refund or dispute revokes it earlier.

Refund requests are handled under the applicable Creem checkout terms and consumer law; cancellation does not by itself promise a refund. Payment failures, expired subscriptions, refunds and disputes can affect Pro access. Free accounts can save up to 3 cloud projects; Pro accounts can save up to 100. Pro voice generation includes 50,000 characters per month and supports up to 500 characters per request. Existing projects remain accessible after a downgrade, but additional saves and premium edits may be limited. Keep copies of work that matters to you.

Protect your Google account and do not share sessions or abuse cloud storage. Accounts may be suspended for abuse or violations of these terms. Contact us for account deletion requests.
